Over the years she has lived in New York, Maine, Philadelphia, and Austin
making theater and films, and in her creative pursuits,
she’s found herself in some interesting situations:
- Protesting in the California redwood forest with tree-sitting activists
- Traveling solo to Africa to serve as a “creative consultant” to a first time Nigerian director
- Nursing a face bite by a Rottweiler the day before directing a feature film and trying to act cool in front of the crew
- Shooting in the California desert during the height of the Santa Ana winds
- Mushing behind a pack of sled dogs in Maine
- Fly fishing in Montana rivers
- Shopping for wedding dresses throughout India with her college roommate's family
- Flying lessons in Texas
